Aubrey Plaza

Aubrey Plaza (born June 26, 1984) is an actor, comedian, and is known for exuding her humor in a deadpan way. April Ludgate plays her on Parks and Recreation. In the Jeannie Tate Show she was the first to debut on a web-based show following her work in sketch comedy and improv at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. Her career continued with appearances on Funny People by Judd Apatow and Scott Pilgrim and vs. World. Her birthday is today. Aubrey Christina Plaza, daughter of Bernadette Plaza (an attorney) and David Plaza (a financial specialist) was born on Wilmington Delaware. Both of her parents both are Irish/English, as well as Puerto Rican. Plaza is a graduate from a Catholic All-Girls' School in 2002. She graduated in 2006. She graduated from Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. In her senior year of her high school years, she served as president of the student council at her all-girls Catholic school and took part in Wilmington Drama League performances. Plaza is at the end of her college experience at that time, suffered an aphasia expressive and paralysis. Now, she is completely healed. Plaza has done improv at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, New York City since 2004. In addition, The Laugh Factory, The Improv and The Laugh Factory in N.Y.C. are just a few of the places she performed stand up comedy. Plaza has appeared on television as Robin Gibney in E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street, The Jeannie Tate Show and the first episode Terrible Decisions starring Ben Schwartz. She played the Princess, a satirical sci fi character on CollegeHumor Troopers. The year was 2014. Plaza made her debut on the saxophone for Cassorla's Bona Fide. She first appeared on Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings' in 2012. In 2016 Plaza was featured in HarmonQuest in the role of Hawaiian Coffee a gnome. She was Aaron Burr, in Drunk History. and Cat Adams on Season 11 of the C.B.S. Criminal Minds. The show's 12th season saw her returned to the show with a resounding success in the role. The following year, it was confirmed Plaza would be appearing in the independent comedy An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn.
